I like hard gummy candies and often eat HARIBO's "Gold Bear" and UHA Mikakuto's "Ninja Meshi" series. I found 3 products. Compared to actually eating, I tried to find out which gummy was the most chewy!

The gummy candies I bought this time are Kasugai Confectionery "Tsubu Gummy", Kabaya Foods "Tough Gummy", and Kanro "Kandemi-Na's Greatest Power".

■ Gummy candy

A sugar-coated gummy with a "hard texture" that allows you to enjoy five colorful and small fruit flavors (apple, grape, muscat, peach, and grapefruit). The price is 143 yen (tax included, same below). The content is 85g (3oz).


When chewed, the thick sugar coating crumbles first, followed by a gummy candy with a stuffy texture. The cute design of the package says "hard texture", but it is the first bite to feel the hardness. The rest is a soft texture. This is rather a soft gummy candy.


The sweetness is strong, and it is a dish that somehow reminds me of "Po * full". Recommended for those who like the crunchy texture of chewing sugar coating.

■ Tough gummy

"Tough gummy" with 100g (3.53oz) of high elasticity large gummy. Three flavors, cola, soda, and ginger ale, coated with sour powder, are assorted. The price is 195 yen.


Gummies sprinkled with plenty of sour powder with a strong acidity have a taste that makes you feel a little candy-like. When you chew, you will feel a strong elasticity like "Munyun!". Because it is thick, you can enjoy the elasticity of "Mugyu, Mugyu" to the end. Each grain has a satisfying taste, but it is an addictive product that makes you addicted to this chewy texture and picks it up.

■ Kandemi-na

"Kandemi-na's greatest power" is a hard gummy that has a unique shape and you can enjoy the change in texture depending on the shape. The price is 184 yen. The content is 63g (2.22oz).


There are three types of gummies in the shape of "mosquitoes": "energy grape soda flavor", "energy soda flavor", and "grape soda flavor". The surface is sprinkled with sour powder.


The sour powder that spreads slowly and the sweetness of an energy drink. It is tightly hard and you can enjoy a chewy texture. Due to its complicated shape, the texture of the gummy candies that overlap each other is also ◎.

■ What is the most chewy?

The one that I personally felt the most chewy was the Kabaya food "Tough Gummy"! It was a well-balanced dish that you can enjoy a firm and hard texture while retaining the "muggy" elasticity that is typical of gummy candies.


One of the attractions is that the elasticity continues until just before swallowing. Speaking only of hardness, "Kandemi-na maximum power" is quite good, but if you look at the overall balance, it's still "tough gummy".
