Tsubakiya's special iced coffee is also 1,050 yen (tax included, same below), but it's worth a try. A tall glass is filled with frozen ice from strong coffee, and the shop staff brings it to the table and then pours the freshly brewed coffee from above.

When it's done, bring your face close to the glass and smell it. In addition to the roasted aroma, you can smell the coffee beans. When I put it in my mouth, it had a strong bitterness, but I didn't feel much astringency or sourness.

Normally, iced coffee melts and becomes lighter in taste over time, but Tsubakiya's special iced coffee does not, and I think it even has a stronger taste. Add milk and syrup to your liking. It is also very beautiful that the white pattern swells and flows over the black ice.

I like milk

If you finish drinking and there is ice left, you can order a replacement for coffee only for a fee. By the way, some people may want to drink this coffee latte made from frozen ice. The reporter was also intrigued and tried it.

When I ordered ice milk that is not on the menu separately and poured it into a glass of special ice coffee that was made only of ice, the strong coffee taste was softened by the milk and I enjoyed a different taste. However, it costs an additional 980 yen, for a total of 2,030 yen. It was an invaluable experience, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone other than those who really want to satisfy their curiosity.
