Instant noodles that are useful when cooking is a hassle. However, there are days when even boiling water can be a hassle.
NITORI's "range cooking container for ramen" is a kitchen tool that allows you to make instant noodles in the microwave without boiling water. You can easily make ramen just by adding noodles and vegetables at once and chin, so I bought it! The price is 410 yen (tax included).
◆ How to use
Remove the drop lid inside, add the amount of water (hot water is OK) indicated on the ramen bag, and add instant noodles (raw noodles are not allowed) and your favorite vegetables. This time, we added cut cabbage, carrots, and bean sprouts. Oily items such as char siu and meat cannot be put in because the container will be deformed. To prevent the noodles from floating and boil evenly, fix the drop lid and put it in the microwave. Be careful not to close the drop lid if you add too much vegetables.
Heat at 500W for about 8 minutes with water and about 4 minutes with hot water (minus 1 minute each without vegetables).
After heating, remove the lid, add the ramen soup and mix well to complete! It was really easy to do, but is this really ramen ...?
◆ I tried it
Oh, the noodles are boiled properly! The vegetables also retain their crispy texture, but are moderately heated and softened. However, the impression that the noodles are a little soggy. You may want to shorten the heating time a little.
By the way, when I topped the chicken ramen with eggs and heated it for 6 minutes, the yolk became well-done, but the noodles were boiled just right. It was easy and delicious!
If you want to make the egg half-boiled, boil only the noodles first, take it out of the microwave once after 4 to 5 minutes, insert the egg, and heat it for another 2 minutes. It's a little troublesome, though.
The container is a little hot when you take it out of the microwave, so be careful when handling it. Once cooled, you can eat the whole container as it is. There is no problem if you don't mind the feeling of the washbasin.
As a strong ally of Zubora rice to eat alone, I think it's okay to have one at home. Besides ramen, it can also be used for frozen dumplings and steamed dishes!
