Indonesian sweets and tea
Indonesian snack!

From Okubo to Shin-Okubo in Tokyo, there are many foreign restaurants and food stores. "TOKO INDONESIA" has everything from Indonesian sweets to tea and seasonings.

The shop is full of Indonesian food

The location of the shop is just outside the north exit of Okubo Station. It takes less than a few minutes to walk. There are several Indonesian women working in the store, and it seems that many Indonesian women come to shop. It's a new everyday landscape that you can see in the changing Tokyo.

The description of the product is mixed with Japanese and the alphabet Indonesian, English, and Chinese.

There are multiple types of canned juices that you don't recognize on the shelves, canned fruits that you don't eat much in Japan, instant noodles from unknown brands, and retort pouches for cooking over there. Just looking around the store, the amount of information that comes into my eyes is too much and my head sways.

PALM SUGAR

Of particular note was the brown sugar that was hardened into a cylinder. It says "PALM SUGAR" and apparently it was made from palm flower nectar. Intrigued by the taste.

Of course, ordinary sweets, tea and coffee are also available. When I asked the shop staff for recommendations, he stopped his busy hand and told me.
