Curry specialty restaurant chain "Curry House CoCo Ichibanya". Did you know that the "Morning Curry Set" is actually available only at stores?

The morning curry set is available from 6:00 to 11:00 a.m. The set includes a half-size curry with 150 grams of rice. You can enjoy a half-size curry with 150g (5.29oz) rice, a mini salad, and a drink of your choice.

A bargain at less than one coin!

Since I was in the mood, I chose the morning veggie curry set. Salad and a drink arrived immediately after ordering. The salad comes with three kinds of dressing (original dressing, sesame dressing, and non-oil dressing).



The difference between the regular morning curry set and the morning veggie curry set is the "roux. Usually, a pork-based roux is used, but the morning veggie curry set uses a vegetarian curry roux.


The dish is mild at first, but as you swallow it, you can gradually feel the richness of the spices. The texture of the cut vegetables is also very good. It is characterized by a subtle sweetness. Compared to pork, it seems a little lighter.


The amount of rice is just right for the morning. If you are hungry and can't get enough, a large serving is recommended. You can have a large serving for only 103 yen per 100 grams.

The set menu with a salad and a drink is under one coin, so it's a very cost-effective set menu. It would be great if there were more stores that carry this set menu. If you have a chance, why not give it a try!
