Caldì Frozen Churros "Maheso Churros with Cinnamon Sugar

I heard a rumor that the frozen churros sold at KALDI were delicious, so I bought some. It is said to be the top brand of authentic Spanish churros.

It's quite a lot of food.

The price is 540 yen (tax included) for a 227g (8.01oz) package (8 to 10 churros). They are crunchy, chunky, fragrant, and satisfying, making them a perfect snack for growing kids!

Frozen in a toaster for 7 minutes

It's easy to make, just take out the frozen portions and toast them in a toaster oven at 500W for 7 minutes to crisp them up. Sprinkle with the optional cinnamon sugar if desired.

Once baked, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and you're done!

Crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside

When you eat it, the outside is crispy and the inside is chewy! The more you bite into it, the more the richness of the oil that seeps out is fragrant. Churros in Spain are quite chewy, aren't they?

Slightly hard texture

The churros themselves are not sweet, so the best way to enjoy them is to sprinkle a lot of cinnamon sugar on them. The crunchy texture of the churros is a pleasant accent. The only thing is that I couldn't really taste the cinnamon flavor, so as a cinnamon lover, I think it could be a little stronger...

I also recommend dipping it in chocolate, topping it with honey, or serving it with ice cream! I think having a bag of these in the freezer will be useful for guests or for a quick snack.
