"Japanese sweets in clothes". Introducing "Jazz Sheep" from Yufuin CREEKS.

A product that I've always been interested in since I saw it on the official website. It was so popular that I couldn't get it (at the time of writing the article, it was sold out until February at the official online shop), but I finally got it at the special event store. I will tell you a lot about its charm.

I bought the winter-only "Jazz Sheep chocolat". The paper bag designed to look like a heart and piano, and the package with a heart engraved in brown are wonderful. The excitement hasn't stopped since I bought it.


When you open the lid, you can see the beautiful keyboard. The size is about 20 cm x 4 cm x 3 cm, and it looks like a miniature piano. It is a perfection that makes you want to start playing.


A dish of white bean paste and couverture chocolate combined with dry figs, cherries and raisins. It seems that it is carefully finished by craftsmen. The price is 2,592 yen (tax included).

The softness that the fork goes in smoothly. A rich texture that combines the moist feeling of yokan with the smoothness of terrine. The mellow cacao flavor spreads softly with each bite.


The mellow sweetness of white bean paste wraps the cacao. The sourness of the cherry pops in some places. It is a fig to add an accent with a bubble wrap texture. Furthermore, juicy raisins are layered to create a pleasant harmony.


The rich taste of "the best of Japanese and Western sweets" goes well with a variety of drinks. Speaking of yokan, the combination with Japanese tea is an iron plate, but it seems to go well with coffee, black tea, wine, etc.
