Stollen, a classic Christmas season. A sweet bread originating in Germany with plenty of fruits and nuts mixed in.

It is common to slice large chunks and eat them, but recently I found a cute mini-sized one with a colon at Seijo Ishii. It is "Petit Stollen of 6 kinds of dried fruits". The price is 500 yen (excluding tax) for 4 pieces.


Two kinds of raisins, apricots, cranberries, figs, orange peels and walnuts are mixed in a moist dough, and the taste is authentic despite its mini size! The more you chew, the more gorgeous the sweetness and acidity of dried fruits and the rich flavor of spices will spread.


Large Stollen is a good product for people who are not confident that they can eat it or who have trouble cutting it one by one. It looks cute, so you can line it up at a party or use it as a small gift for this season.
