At Tonkatsu Katsuya, the new menu "Chicken Katsu Beef Suki Don" and "Chicken Katsu Beef Suki Nabe Set Meal" are on sale from October 20th. Limited time of about 1 month.

Both are hearty menus with chicken cutlets and simmered beef. The price is 590 yen for a bowl and 690 yen for a set meal (excluding tax).


Only set meals come with eggs that are indispensable for beef simmering, so this time I chose this one. Tonjiru is also included in the set.


Chicken cutlet and beef simmered in an iron pan that is hard to cool. Upon arrival, the eggs are on fire to the extent that the color of the white meat changes. The yolk is a thick liquid.



Beef simmered is soft, and the sweet and spicy sauce is well-stained. The taste that the rice goes well as expected.



This sweet and spicy sauce is also soaked in chicken cutlet, and when chewed, the rich taste of the sauce spreads "juwa" along with the elastic taste of chicken. The batter on the top and inside partially escapes the erosion of the sauce, and claims the fragrance of freshly fried with a crispy texture.
