Hanzomon Ichibancho "TiMi

Cakes made into baked goods as they are! An unusual series of baked sweets called "Bake" can be enjoyed at the confectionery store "TiMi".

The store is located near Hanzomon Station in Tokyo. Inside the stylish glass-walled store, baked goods and breads are sold. There is also an eat-in space in the basement where you can enjoy sandwiches and sweets. This time, we took out three items for a snack.

Baked Tiramisu

Baked Tiramisu is a traditional Italian sweet. The cheese cream and chocolate dough is baked with a coffee ganache filling. The price is 430 yen (excluding tax).


The top chocolate part has a crispy texture. The chocolate part on top has a crispy texture and melts away, releasing a rich sweetness. The moist and mild cheese cream is also a perfect match. The savory, sweet, and rich flavors combine to create a multi-layered taste.

The ganache adds an edgy bitterness. You can also taste the subtle acidity of the coffee. The heavy aftertaste of coffee that lingers forever makes me happy. Because it is baked, it is more substantial than the fresh tiramisu.

Baked Mont Blanc

A baked Mont Blanc pastry made lavishly with chestnuts. Inside are chestnuts stewed in astringent skin, marron cream, and blackcurrant jam for accent. Price: 430 yen.


The top is a duckoise-like dough. It is fluffy and fragile, yet leaves a savory taste in the mouth. Following that is a moist dough like a madeleine and a tart with a pleasant texture. It is luxurious, as if you are eating several baked goods in one bite.


The inside is more like a paste than cream, with a sticky texture. The rich chestnut flavor spreads in every mouthful. The wine accentuates the rich flavor. The moment you bite into a large piece of chestnut with astringent skin is the happiest moment of your life...!

Cheesecake Fondue

A sweet treat made by pouring a generous amount of vanilla and cheesecake into puff pastry and baking it. It is a very dynamic visual. The price is 450 yen.


This cheesecake is rich and has a slightly sour taste on the palate. The richness of the cheesecake contrasts beautifully with the light texture. The cheesecake is chewy, but not heavy, and is exquisitely balanced. The aroma of vanilla that escapes through the nose is gorgeous.


I was surprised at the high quality of each of the dough and cream. The combination of each of them makes for a "terribly tasty baked good". They can be stored at room temperature, so they are perfect not only for home use but also as souvenirs!
